The industry’s first dedicated NFC transmitter for wireless charging applications alongside data communication, Panthronics’ PTX100W is a powerful and efficient NFC transmitter system-on-chip for use in wireless charger devices for consumer application.
On top of the wireless charging capability it also provides a complete NFC reader implementation compliant with NFC Forum specifi cation. Its new RF architecture enables NFC wireless charging solutions of devices with smaller antenna and larger battery capacity compared to the existing solutions.
Featuring an industry-best output power – higher than 2.5W enabling fast charging -, it has an innovative sine-wave transmitter for Direct Antenna Connection (DiRAC™). Superior RF performance enables small antenna design, allowing flexible placement of charger and device antennas.
It offers an accurate digital wave shaping for enhanced data communication and interoperability while in charging mode. It also features on-chip processing of Foreign Object Detection (FOD) and time critical commands.
