DELO has launched two new devices for controlling and powering LED curing lamps. The DELOLUX pilot S4i and S4T models allow the use of more powerful lamp heads in an extremely compact design.

With the use of the new DELOLUX pilot S series, DELOLUX 50 spot lamps can be controlled more efficiently, with the ability to regulate up to four lamp heads independently. Because of their compact nature, the devices are ideal for integration into systems with limited space. DELOLUX pilot S4i (i = integrated) measures just 100 x 80 x 100 mm; the S4T model (T = touch) measures approximately 230 x 300 x 400 mm.

The DELOLUX pilot S4i is designed exclusively for integration into PLC-controlled process systems. The control unit comes without an integrated power supply. In contrast, the DELOLUX pilot S4T model features a touch screen for manual control and has its own integrated power supply. The touch version allows lamp heads to be operated autonomously without the use of a PLC. However, PLC control is still possible on this system. One device is enough to operate in three different modes, including manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic.

Compared to their predecessor that offered only 60 W of power, the S4 models offer 150 W of power, allowing even more powerful lamp heads to be used, including the recently introduced DELOLUX 504 spot light source. Thanks to significantly increased intensity, UV adhesives cure faster and cycle times are reduced. An intelligent controller in the base unit ensures a constant intensity of the lamp heads.
