Octillion’s advance BMS (Battery Management System) allows customers to have multiple system configurations. Octillion’s Caspian packs can be connected in parallel without need for a junction box. Advanced algorithm allows independent pack operation and complete system redundancy. Packs also have advanced emergency charge and pack-to-pack balance feature to maintain constant DC voltage on the HV bus.
Its Mammoth battery packs are integrated using a junction box. This architecture allows enhanced flexibility. Customers can create battery systems starting with 30kWh all the way to 512kWh without any modification in the system.
Octillion’s built-in insulation monitoring system ensures robust battery pack level and vehicle system level insulation monitoring. This allows safety cutoffs based on lower insulation resistance in the system.
