The MC ATAU Series is ideally suited for modern precision electronic products that require reliability and stability, including automotive and industrial systems. The meander cut trimming geometry enhances the stability of Vishay’s MC ATAU chip resistors by allowing heat to be distributed homogeneously across the entire resistive element and thus reducing the intensity of any single hot spot on the resistive film.
Available with 0402 and 0603 case sizes, this series of resistors combines high-temperature operation to 155 °C with relative tolerance down to ±0.1 % and relative TCR down to ±15 ppm/K. In addition to excellent high-temperature performance, the MC ATAU series is extremely robust against harsh environmental conditions and provides superior moisture resistivity of l∆R/Rl < 0.5 % at 85 °C and 85 % relative humidity for 1,000 hours.
