ProTek Devices’ TVS array delivers board level circuit protection in mobile devices

ProTek Devices has introduced a high powered transient voltage suppressor array (TVS array) for board level circuit protection in mobile devices, USB fast charging voltage Buses, in batteries, and in industrial equipment. The new TVS array is designed to protect sensitive electronics from damage or latch-up due to electrical overstress, lightning, CDE, and ESD. The PVCOM24 offers a fast response time, a low operating voltage, low leakage current, and a low clamping voltage. It is compatible with IEC standards 61000- (ESD): air plus or minus 30kV, contact plus or minus30kV; with 61000-4-4 (EFT): 4kV - 5/50ns; and with 61000-4-5 (surge): 37A, 8/20 microseconds. It features 1,600 Watts peak pulse power per line (typical = 8/20 microseconds), unidirectional configuration and it has a high peak pulse current capability. The PVCOM24 is also RoHS and REACH compliant. The PVCOM24 is available in a DFN22 package with an approximate weight of just three milligrams. This is a similar size package to a SOD-532 or 1.6mm x 0.8mm. It has lead free plating and a solder reflow temperature (pure-tin – Sn,

[Hot] Hybrid construction aluminum electrolytic capacitors

NIC Components' NSPE-TS product series of surface mount SMT aluminum electrolytic capacitors utilize advanced hybrid construction, combining conductive polymer with liquid electrolyte, resulting in low ESR, high ripple current ratings (up to 3.9Arms), self-healing characteristics, and stable performance over -55℃ to +125℃
