Telink and Nowi continue their existing partnership by offering energy harvesting connectivity module for the remote-control unit market. The aim of this strategic partnership is to offer television manufacturers and TV service providers with an integrated solution for their energy harvesting remote control units. This will further reduce cost, size and complexity of developing environmentally friendly products.

This Energy Harvesting Connectivity Module combines Telink’s top of the line TLSR8273 multi-protocol connectivity SoC with Nowi’s brand new industry leading PMIC, Diatom.

Diatom (NH16D0345) is an Energy Harvesting Power Management IC which combines top harvesting performance with power management features in a compact-sized package offering a reduced BOM.

Telink’s TLSR8273 supports various protocols in the 2.4GHz ISM band and delivers superior RF performance while consuming extremely low power. By combining these two chipsets into one module, this joint solution provides unmatched performance at the lowest possible price.

With samples available from Autumn 2022, this solution addresses the needs of TV ODMs and OEMs who are catering to the new generation of environmentally conscious consumers. The industry is increasingly moving towards sustainable alternatives and reducing its reliance on billions of polluting primary batteries. This module will play a key role in this transition.
